What is a surrogate contract?

A surrogate contract is an agreement whereby a woman agrees to carry a baby for someone else, whether it is a single person or a couple. In the United States, commercial surrogacy contracts are allowed, which means that most surrogates receive an economic compensation in addition to a reimburse of the expenses incurred during the process (maternity clothes, medical visits, travel costs, etc.).
